Description
TRICYCLAZOLE 20.4% + AZOXYSTROBIN 6.8% SC
DESCRIPTION: AZOSTAR is a broad-spectrum systemic and contact fungicide containing Tricyclazole 20.4% + Azoxystrobin 6.8% SC. It provides dual action by inhibiting spore germination and fungal growth, protecting the crop from a wide range of fungal diseases. It is highly effective against blast and sheath blight diseases in paddy and various fungal infections in other crops. The unique combination ensures longer protection and improved yield quality.
MODE OF ACTION: Tricyclazole acts as a systemic fungicide that prevents melanin biosynthesis in fungal cell walls, effectively stopping the infection process. Azoxystrobin works by inhibiting mitochondrial respiration, blocking energy production in fungal cells. Together, they provide preventive, curative, and antisporulant activity, giving prolonged protection against fungal diseases and reducing crop loss.
