Description
DIFENOCONAZOLE 25% EC
DESCRIPTION: Scotch is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide containing Difenoconazole 25% EC, highly effective in controlling a wide range of fungal diseases in various crops. It provides both protective and curative actions, ensuring long-lasting disease control and healthier plant growth. It is highly recommended for use in fruits, vegetables, and cereals to prevent fungal infections like leaf spot, rust, and powdery mildew.
MODE OF ACTION: Difenoconazole acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption in membrane formation prevents fungal growth and reproduction. It moves systemically within the plant, providing internal protection to new leaves and shoots. Regular use helps maintain disease-free crops and supports uniform growth and higher yield.
