Description
Quizalofop Ethyl 4% + Oxyfluorfen 6% EC
DESCRIPTION: OXYFIRE is a selective, post-emergence herbicide that provides broad-spectrum control of both grassy and broadleaf weeds. The dual-action combination of Quizalofop Ethyl and Oxyfluorfen ensures complete weed management in onion and garlic crops. Quizalofop Ethyl acts as a systemic herbicide targeting grassy weeds, while Oxyfluorfen provides contact action on broadleaf weeds, ensuring clean and weed-free fields for maximum yield.
MODE OF ACTION: Quizalofop Ethyl inhibits the Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme in grassy weeds, stopping lipid synthesis and causing growth arrest. Oxyfluorfen acts by inhibiting protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO), leading to membrane disruption and desiccation of broadleaf weeds. Together, they offer synergistic and long-lasting weed control.
