CHLORPYRIPHOS 10% GR

DESCRIPTION: Chlorpyriphos 10% Granules is used to control rice insects and contains 10% Chlorpyriphos active ingredient.

MODE OF ACTION : Broad-spectrum organophosphorus insecticide. It is a non-systemic insecticide with contact, stomach, and respiratory action.

FORCE-10 (Chlorpyriphos 10% GR) is used to control rice insects.
It works as a cholinesterase inhibitor.
For application in rice, 2–3 cm standing water should be available in the field.
Keep water impounded for 2–3 days after application.
It is incompatible with alkaline materials.
It is used to control Coleopteran, Diptera, Homopteran, and Lepidoptera in soil or on foliage.

ANTIDOTE:

Atropinize the patient immediately and maintain full atropinization by repeated doses of 2 to 4 mg of Atropine Sulphate intravenously at 5 to 10 minutes intervals. As much as 25 to 50 mg of Atropine may be required in a day. The need for further Atropine administration is guided by the continuance of symptoms. Extent of salivation is a useful criterion for dose adjustment.
Dissolve 1–2 gm of 2-PAM in 10 ml distilled water and inject intravenously very slowly over 10–15 minutes.
