DESCRIPTION: SILFURAN is a systemic granular insecticide and nematicide used for effective control of soil and early-stage sucking and chewing pests. It is widely recommended for protection of crops against stem borers, root feeders, and nematodes, ensuring healthy crop establishment and vigorous growth.
MODE OF ACTION :Â
Carbofuran is a carbamate insecticide that inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) in the insect nervous system. This disruption causes continuous nerve impulse transmission, leading to paralysis and eventual death of the pest. It acts through systemic as well as contact action and is absorbed through roots, providing long-lasting protection.
